The company operates online casinos in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. During its first year of operation in West Virginia, DraftKings Casino brought 75% of its $50 million online bets to the state. SugarHouse-Rivers is second on the list with 16% of the US online casino GGR market share. Sugarhouse-Rivers Casino is owned by Rush Street Interactive. The company operates online casinos in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. SugarHouse Casino was one of the first casinos to apply for an online gaming license from PA. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approved the license in 2018, allowing SugarHouse to offer online slots, table games and poker to Pennsylvania residents and visitors.

ROAR is fourth on the list and has 13% of the US online casino GGR market share. ROAR Digital is a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings and includes BetMGM, Borgata, PartyCasino and PartyPoker. According to the CEO of ROAR Digital, betMGM will generate more than $130 million in net income this year, mainly from iGaming (an online casino) in New Jersey, given COVID-19 (i.e. the lack of sports). ROAR Digital has live casinos in New Jersey and West Virginia under the BetMGM brand and plans to enter the Pennsylvania market this year.

Tilman Fertitta’s Golden Nugget Casino comes in fifth place. Golden Nugget currently operates their online casino exclusively in New Jersey where they are the market leader. The company experienced record user activity in the third quarter and could have more than $100 million in values at GGR in New Jersey by 2020. The company recently received approval from the New Jersey Casino Oversight Board to end its merger with SPAC Landcadia Holdings II.

PokerStars is sixth on the list with 5% of the US online casino’s GGR market share. Like BetFair-FanDuel in second place, PokerStars is on the ceiling of Flutter Entertainment. The popular European poker site launched in 2016 in New Jersey. PokerStars gives users access to online poker, slots and casino games in New Jersey.
